Enhancement of laser heating process by laser surface modification on Titanium alloy

چکیده

Titanium alloys are widely utilized in laser heating applications. However, it has poor optical properties due to low energy absorption. Nevertheless, a higher absorption can be realized by modifying the surface profile through increasing roughness. In this present work, modification (LSM) process was carried out increase roughness on of Ti6Al4V titanium alloy. Subsequently, characterization and were analysed using 3D microscope. The effect power increment investigated. It revealed that an during LSM could result shows that, alloy increased 27 times when modified with highest (27W) compared gritted surface. Furthermore, will heated radiation order analyse towards temperature. Depending value heating, maximum temperature measured 27% corresponding flat reference
